In this episode I welcome Patrick Devenny. Patrick is a former star football player. He played for CU Boulder and trained with the Seattle Seahawks. In all the pressure to get to the top in athletics, Patrick developed an eating disorder. We talk about the ways society gives us unhealthy ideals, the recovery process, and how there's new hope in raising our young girls.

Thank you to Patrick for being on the show, and being open and honest about the struggles a lot of men face. Body image is not just a female concern. We all have to keep things in proper perspective and know our inherent worth. And we have an opportunity to instill those good values in our kids. We can change the culture. We can create a better nation.

Thank you for listening, and if you like these episodes, please leave a 5-Star review and share it with a friend. If you know a new Girl Dad be sure to welcome them to Girl Dad Nation!

There is no greater joy than being a dad!
